The LegalTech Fund (TLTF) convened a group of forward-thinking industry leaders, in partnership with LinkSquares, to explore how in-house teams will evolve by 2040 using the Three Horizons framework.
This report serves as a strategic guide for in-house legal leaders navigating AI transformation, increasing complexity, and new expectations for speed and business integration. It maps six key shifts: from time-based work to outcomes-based value, from reactive service to proactive leadership, and from fragmented documents to interoperable data models that drive decisions.
Developed with industry leaders, Leaders’ Quest, and ALM, Pathways is a project designed to help the legal industry think clearly about where it’s headed over the next 15 years and what it will take to lead that change.
