  • Cyborg, a Vector DB that keeps inference data end-to-end encrypted, raised an undisclosed amount by iGan Partners, to advance confidential AI for regulated industries.

  • Definely, a document drafting and knowledge management company, raised $30M Series B, to accelerate its global expansion and AI product roadmap.

  • Flank, an AI-powered legal and compliance automation company, raised $10M, led by Insight Partners, to scale autonomous legal agents.

  • Harvey, a legal LLM, raised $300M Series E, co-led by Kleiner Perkins and Coatue, to expand globally and enter into new professional services like tax accounting.

  • Laurel, an AI time platform, raised $100M, led by IVP, with participation from Google Ventures and 01A, to transform the professional services industry.

  • Midpage, a legal research platform, raised a $4M Seed round from a legal publishing house, a chief innovation officer from one of the Am Law top 30 firms and LEA Partners, to continue building for legal researchers.

  • Ontra, an AI legaltech for private markets, raised $70M in debt financing, from Silicon Valley Bank, to accelerate product development.

  • Pactum, an agentic AI platform for enterprise procurement, raised $54M Series C, led by Insight Partners, to expand operations and its development efforts.

  • ProfitSolv, a practice management and payments software for professional services firms, received an undisclosed strategic investment co-led by FTV Capital and Lightyear Capital, to continue product innovation.

  • Qanooni, an AI platform for legal professionals, raised $2M Pre-Seed, from Village Global, Salica Investments, TA Ventures, and angel investors, to expand its team and scale operations in the UAE and UK.

  • Solve Intelligence, an AI for patents platform, raised $12M Series A from Microsoft (via M12), Thomson Reuters (via TRV), 20VC, and Y Combinator to advance R&D and product.

  • Valla, a legal platform for workers in the UK, raised a $2.7M Seed round from Ada Ventures, to make legal recourse more accessible to employees.

  • Wordsmith AI, a platform to build and deploy intelligent agents, raised $25M Series A from Index Ventures, to deploy fleets of legal AI agents and power the rise of legal engineers.

Acquisitions

  • BayPine acquired a majority stake in legal tech consultancy Harbor Global to fuel next wave of digital transformation.

  • Consilio acquired TrueLaw, a legal AI research lab, to expand AI and advanced narrative generation capabilities.

  • Clio will acquire vLex, a legal intelligence and research platform, for $1B USD in a combination of cash and stock, to expand global footprint and unlock agentic AI capabilities.

  • Wolters Kluwer will acquire Brightflag, an AI-powered legal spend and matter management platform, for €425M in cash to expand its reach among mid-sized U.S. and European corporations.
