  • 🎉 We are excited to introduce two new innovative startups selected to join The LegalTech Lab. These companies are building the next generation of tools for the legal industry:

    • Navys, a legal operating system for funds, raised a $1M Pre-Seed round to build AI-native infrastructure that streamlines workflows and surfaces insights for private fund legal teams.

    • Scan-Logic is an AI-powered legal tech software streamlining law firm finance through e-Billing compliance, AP automation, and invoicing processing.

  • Alt Legal landed growth investment from The LegalTech Fund and SSM Partners to scale its trademark lifecycle tools and "Alt Legal Assist" docketing service globally.

  • Bunch, a bill management platform for renters, acquired Monadd, to transform automated address and service management for renters across the UK.

  • Spellbook gained further enterprise momentum as Dropbox adopted the AI platform to power its in-house legal contracting.


In the Money: Fundings

  • Harvey, a legal AI platform, raised a $160M Series F, led by Andreessen Horowitz. 

  • Solve Intelligence, an AI platform for the patent lifecycle, raised a $40M Series B, co-led by Visionaries and 20VC.

  • Ankar, an AI platform for IP and patent protection, raised a $20M Series A, led by Atomico. 

  • AttiFin AI, an AI legal assistant for law firms, raised a £5M Seed, ahead of its planned launch in early 2026.

  • Briefcatch, an AI-assisted legal writing platform, raised a $6M Series A, to accelerate platform development and expand its presence.

  • Curvestone AI, a platform to automate legal & compliance, raised a $4M Seed, led by MTech Capital. 

  • Soxton AI, an AI legal support platform for startups, raised a $2.5M Pre-Seed, led by angel investors.

  • Awesome Compliance, a collaborative AI platform for compliance, raised a €1.2M Pre-Seed.

Acquisitions

  • Filevine, a legal practice management system, acquired PinCites, to expand AI-powered contract redlining tools.

  • LawVu, a legal operations platform for in-house teams, acquired ClauseBase, to expand its contract AI business.

  • Onit, a workflow and enterprise legal management solution, acquired LawBase, enabling SLED agencies to access deeper expertise and a unified ecosystem of AI-powered legal workflow tools.

  • Scissero, a legal services provider, acquired Robin AI's managed services team, to combine AI with managed legal services.
