Contract Management Systems For organizations that deal with large volumes of contracts, enterprise contract management (ECM) systems , also known as contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, are a way to automate the contract process. Because contracts are central to the business of many organizations, expect this to be a major legal technology growth area. There seem to be four major ECM vendors that are getting good reviews and some major corporate clients: diCarta - http://www.dicarta.com/ Upside - http://www.upsidesoftware.com i-Many - http://www.i-many.com/ Nextance - http://www.nextance.com/home.shtml For more information on ECM and contract management generally, I highly recommend joining the International Association of Contract and Commercial Managers (IACCM). www.iaccm.com Also, Aberdeen Group http://www.aberdeen.com/default.asp has some excellent articles on ECM. Many are free. Consultants: Anuj Saxena Alti, Inc. www.altiamerica.com Last updated: 01/16/2006 |
